Employer's Copyrights

The District Court of Tel Aviv held that an employer does not hold the copyrights to a film made by an employee during the term of the employment and in violation of the employment terms, since it was not made during the course of employment.

Infringement and Estoppel

The Haifa Magistrate Court ruled that a plaintiff is barred from bringing an action for alleged damages resulting from use of a computer program if he can not show that it licensed the software and that the use of the software was not infringing on the vendor's copyrights.

The Tel Aviv District Court held that reverse triangular mergers are permitted under Israeli law, and that a reverse triangular merger of a publicly traded company with its majority shareholder is not a circumvention of the statutory purchase offer requirements.
